As the political season ramps up, many of us see an increase in political fundraising requests. Unfortunately, I’m finding that some of these solicitations can be confusing, especially for our senior community members who may feel pressured or even misled.
At Big Sky Senior Services, we’re committed to making sure that seniors have the resources to make decisions confidently and independently—including decisions about political contributions. It’s so important to me that seniors feel empowered to support the causes they care about without feeling lost in a sea of information or trapped by deceptive tactics.
Every senior deserves clear, honest information. If you’re a senior or have a senior family member facing these kinds of requests, I encourage you to ask questions and check in with trusted family members or organizations. Your donations should align with your values, and you should feel good about the choices you make.
We’re here to help seniors live with confidence and independence, which includes being informed about how, when, and where to contribute. A little extra guidance can make a big difference, especially in today’s often overwhelming political landscape. With the right information, seniors can feel secure in their decisions and support the issues that mean the most to them.
